Corrections, questions about a post, or a tip about a Shake Shack menu item we have not covered yet.
What we can help with, and what we cannot
We run a blog about Shake Shack menu coverage. That means we can check our own writing, and nothing else. If you write about an item that is already gone, that is exactly the kind of message worth sending.
Send us this
-
Corrections to a menu description
A wrong ingredient list, a mislabeled build, or a photo caption that points at the wrong sandwich.
-
An availability note gone stale
If a post sent you looking for something that had already left the menu, tell us the page and the item.
-
A comparison you think is unfair
Our taste notes favor some builds over others. Push back with what you ordered and we will re-read the original.
-
A limited-time item we missed
Seasonal releases slip past us between rounds of coverage. The name and the month you saw it is enough to start.
Not for us
-
Whether your local location has it
We do not track store-level stock, so we cannot say what any single counter is holding today.
-
A delivery order in progress
We are not a restaurant and not a delivery service. We cannot look up a bag, a courier, or an ETA for you.
-
Refunds and billing questions
Those go to the restaurant or to the delivery app you used. We have no access to either one.
-
Unreleased items and rumors
We do not speculate about future menu items, so we cannot confirm something that has not been announced.
How to reach us
Email is the better option for corrections, because we can check a link or a date right in the message. Phone is fine for short questions.
Best for corrections, stale availability notes, and anything that needs a link checked.
Phone
Fine for short questions. If you have a page and a detail, email carries it better.

What to include in a message
Tell us which page you are writing about, what is wrong or missing, and, if it is about availability, roughly where and when you saw the menu. You do not need a formal report. A sentence or two with the item name and the location is enough for us to start checking.
For a menu comparison you think is unfair, quote the line you disagree with and the build you actually ordered. If the item was seasonal, add the month. That is usually all we need to reproduce the situation and update the post.
Response times
Read Monday to Friday
We aim to reply within a few business days. Correction requests that arrive with a specific page and a specific detail usually move fastest, because there is nothing to clarify first. Messages about unreleased menu items cannot be answered, since we do not speculate about products that have not been announced.
Story tips
Send a Shake Shack drop we missed
If a seasonal item has appeared near you and it is not on our radar, send the name and the month. Tips like that are how the seasonal coverage stays current between published rounds.
Report a correctionDo you write about locations outside the United States?
Our coverage is written for readers in the United States, and the availability notes assume a U.S. menu. If you saw a build somewhere else, tell us the country in the message so we do not treat it as a correction to a U.S. post.
Can you tell me if a limited-time item is coming back?
No. We write about items once they are on a menu, and returns are only covered after they are confirmed. If you want to flag something you have seen in person, send the item name and the month and we will look into it from there.
I think a photo on one of your posts is wrong. What do you need?
Send the post name and describe what the picture shows next to what the caption claims. That contrast is the whole report. If the wrong photo belongs to the right item, say that too, since it changes the fix.
Can you help me with an order I placed?
No. We cannot see any order, courier, or refund status, and neither the restaurant nor the delivery app shares that with us. Contact the app you ordered through, or call the restaurant directly, and they can pull it up.
One line is enough
You saw it first. Tell us.
A page name, an item name, and the month is usually everything we need to make a correction or add a drop we overlooked.
